Fine Arts: Wood Carving

Beginning Class is designed for those who have little or no carving experience. The class will cover how to correctly handle and sharpen the carving tools, the basics of chip carving, designing and executing patterns, grids, rosettes, letters, and free form ideas. The registration fee includes a set of carving tools, textbook, and several wooden projects to carve. This course provides one-semester credit toward graduation requirements.
