At Summertimes Day Camp we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment where the campers can explore new opportunities, make new friends, and create memories to last a lifetime. The day camp is hosted at the SSSAS Lower School’s 16 acre campus, which provides plenty of indoor and outdoor space for wonderful summer experiences. The Day Camp offers a wide range of enriching activities each day, including arts and crafts, music and drama, science and technology, sports, and daily swimming. Campers are grouped by age into “home bases” according to grade level and assigned to a caring counselor who rotates with the group through the daily activities. The counselors will not only supervise activities, but act as role models as the campers are encouraged to act in a kind and responsible manner. We believe that each camper is important and unique, and we strive to build on their individual strengths and tackle new challenges each day.
