7th/8th Grade English Prep

Get Ready for 7th and 8th Grade English!

This course will help rising 7th and 8th grade students hone their skills in English. Students will practice the fundamentals of close reading and annotating literary works to build their comprehension skills. Analytical writing and grammar lessons will occur in conjunction with their reading to give students an authentic experience of Middle School English. Students will complete the course having developed a multi-paragraph analytical essay to ensure they feel confident when classes begin in the fall.

Interested 7th grade students can combine this course with 7th Grade Pre-Algebra Math Prep to create a full-day experience.
