Foster a Love of Reading and Creativity!
Does your child love reading? Building? Making new friends? The goal if this camp is to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and friendships through the exploration of books and building. Reading helps children develop and deepen understanding by expanding perspectives and fostering empathy while building helps children grow mindsets around persistence, flexibility, and resilience. Each day will be a fun, enriching experience for your child as we read different books and participate in hands-on activities, including arts and crafts, puppet making, and building with a variety of tools.
*There will be no camp on Monday, June 19th in observation of the Juneteenth federal holiday.
Your camper must be 5 years of age at the time of the camp session in order to attend this camp.
This camp is led by Ms. Julie Esanu, SSSAS Lower School Librarian. Questions about Books, Building, and Bonding Camp can be directed to jesanu@sssas.org.
