Where Science and Movies Meet!
What would a day in the life of Indiana Jones, an archaeologist, look like in real life? In Cinematic Scientists Camp, each day campers will tackle the role of a famous movie scientist and spend a day in their shoes. Depending on the movie’s character, campers will unearth fossils, discover the secrets of the universe, blend different elements and liquids, engineer innovative designs, and explore the environment. The days will be filled with different experiments and science-related experiences relating to each movie character. This is where the movie world meets the science world!
Cinematic Scientists Camp is led by Mr. Ricky Drummond, a faculty member in the SSSAS Middle School English Department and the Performing Arts Department, and Ms. Alex Mooskin, a faculty member in the SSSAS Middle School Science Department. If you have any questions about the camp, please contact Mr. Drummond at rdrummond@sssas.org, or Ms. Mooskin at amooskin@sssas.org.
