Make new friends with all day fun!
At Day Camp, we are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment where campers can explore new opportunities, make new friends, and create memories to last a lifetime. The day camp is hosted at the SSSAS Lower School’s 16 acre campus, which provides plenty of indoor and outdoor space for wonderful summer experiences.
Day Camp offers a wide range of enriching activities each day tailored to various age groups. Campers are grouped by age into “home bases” according to grade level and assigned to counselors who remain with the group throughout their activities. Kindergarteners and 1st graders will be introduced to various crafts, games, science experiments, and water play throughout each day. For our older Day Campers (2nd through 4th grade), in the afternoon, campers participate in instructor-led activities, such as fort-building, jewelry-making, soccer, or gross science experiments. The counselors will not only supervise activities, but also act as role models, encouraging campers to act in a kind and responsible manner. We believe that each camper is important and unique, and we strive to build on their individual strengths and tackle new challenges each day.
Our 2nd through 4th grade Day Campers will take daily trips to the pool. Our K through 1st grade Day Campers will remain on campus for daily water play.
On Fun Fridays, Day Camp will have exciting activities brought onto campus. Past examples are reptile shows, mobile petting zoos, sno-cone trucks, and water slides.
*Your camper must be 5 years of age at the time of the camp session in order to attend this camp.*
*Please note that there will be no camp on Monday, June 19th in observation of the Juneteenth federal holiday, or on Tuesday, July 4th in observation of the Independence Day federal holiday.
