3, 2, 1… LIFT OFF! In this exciting camp, teams of campers (Flight Squads) prepare drones to deliver vital life essentials to the Red Planet. While simulating missions with the Odyssey and navigating low orbit satellites, campers hone their flying skills and programming accuracy as they journey through space. Using flying drones and robotic ground vehicles, flight squads compete in realistic space scenarios including asteroid belt navigation, planet exploration, Martian races, and mineral collection missions. Strap on your drone space belts for an exciting voyage!

Drone Mission: Earth to Mars is led by Drobots, a Summertimes partner. Drobots’ mission is to inspire students to reduce idle time in front of a computer screen and instead utilize technology in a setting that promotes collaborative project-based learning in a positive educational environment.
