Native Animal Explorers

In this exciting, hands-on outdoor camp, campers will travel off-site to hike trails, wade in streams, and walk pond and lake shores to find native wildlife. Campers observe, catch, photograph, and release frogs, toads, tadpoles, salamanders, lizards, turtles, crayfish, minnows, and many more small critters that live in the water and woods. Campers must wear sneakers and bring lunch, snack, river shoes, change of clothes, and towel.

*Please note that unlike most Summertimes camps, Native Animal Explorers begins at 8:30 am and runs until 4:30 pm.*

Native Animal Explorers is directed by Fish and Explore, a Summertimes partner. Additional information about Fish and Explore can be found at fishandexplore.com. For any camp-specific questions, please contact Matt Helfinstein at mhelfinstein@fishandexplore.com.
