Where Stories Come to Life!
Does your child love reading? Building and creating? Making new friends? The goal of this camp is to cultivate curiosity, creativity, and friendships through the exploration of books, building, and making. Reading helps children develop and deepen understanding by expanding perspectives and fostering empathy, while building and making helps children grow mindsets around persistence, flexibility, and resilience. Each day will be a fun, enriching experience for your child as we read different books and participate in hands-on activities, including building and making with a variety of materials, such as Legos, building straws, and loose parts.
*Your camper must be 5 years of age at the time of the camp session in order to attend this camp.*
*Please note that there is no camp on Thursday, June 19th, in observance of the federal holiday.*
Wonderworks Storybook Camp is led by Ms. Julie Esanu, SSSAS Lower School Librarian. Questions about this camp can be directed to jesanu@sssas.org.
