Middle School Campus
In Escape Room Camp, campers will learn the basics of escape rooms and code making. Escape rooms are themed rooms that require you to solve a variety of clues and codes to “escape the room” in a given amount of time. We will start by learning a variety of codes and ciphers, including how to create our own clues for an escape room. Once the campers have a basic understanding of codes and clue making, they will form groups to create their own escape room. Students will come up with a theme, a situation, and the clues and props to make the room a reality. For example, students may decide that the participants are in a log cabin and they must escape before an avalanche traps them. At the end of the camp, campers will set up their room for the other groups to run through, and they will get to try out the rooms that other groups have created. This will be a great camp for students who love puzzles and riddles, as well as getting to be creative and make various props that will make their room come to life.
Escape Room Camp is directed by SSSAS Third Grade faculty member, Ms. Caroline Harvey. If you have any questions specific to Escape Room Camp, please contact Ms. Harvey at email@example.com
