Specialty Camps

Junior Fashion Camp

Rising Grades 1-5
9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
June 17-21
Middle School Campus

Does your camper love clothes and accessories and have an eye towards design? Junior Fashion Camp builds the interest of younger campers in the exciting world of fashion and design. Throughout the week, campers will learn new technical skills such as sewing and embroidery and will work with various materials, textiles, and colors. They are encouraged to express their creativity through different projects, such as making their own purse, designing their own tops, or creating their own fashion accessories - all which will be taken home at the end of the week  Campers will also go on field trips to a fabric store and the National Museum of American History to see the First Lady Dress Collection.  At the week’s end and as a grand finale on Friday afternoon, campers will show off their fabulous creations on the runway at a fashion show for family and friends!

Junior Fashion Camp is led by SSSAS Middle School Counselor, Mrs. Karen Kunz. Contact Mrs. Karen Kunz with your questions at kkunz@sssas.org.
