Has your camper been cooped up inside for too long? SafeZone Sports Camp is the perfect chance for your camper to get out some energy and brush up on their athletic skills! SafeZone Sports Camp is a co-ed, non-contact multi-sport camp during which campers will cycle with their camper group through three sports each day. Campers will not share sports equipment within their group, and all sports equipment will be wiped down with an EPA-approved cleaner between group use. Coaches will regularly remind campers to maintain physical distance throughout the activities. Although the majority of the camp day will be spent outside, there will be plenty of opportunities to take breaks from the heat and cool off with some water play!

Sports Descriptions:

Speed-Agility-Quickness (SAQ) - SAQ allows campers the opportunity to improve
speed and coordination while having fun! Over the course of the week, our coaches focus on
speed mechanics, running form, plyometrics, core strength, explosive movements, stretching
and more. These techniques allow athletes from any sport to increase their speed and running

Baseball/Softball - Beginner to intermediate boys and girls will have fun while learning the
fundamentals of baseball/softball. Campers will rotate through various skills, drills, and games
designed to challenge athletes while reinforcing the fundamentals. Proper technique will be emphasized for throwing, catching, hitting, pitching, base running, game strategy, and more!

Flag Football - Our high energy non-contact flag football camp is dedicated to teaching and
developing football skills and knowledge in a fun and supportive environment. All fundamental
aspects of the game will be covered: catching, passing, strategies, and defense. Campers
rotate through different groups of skill positions: quarterback, running back, receiver, linebacker
and defensive back, learning the fundamentals of each position through drills and exciting

Lacrosse - During the lacrosse portion, campers will learn and review the fundamentals and
player-position skills as well as team concepts. Through daily skills work, individual, and team
competitions, campers will improve all aspects of their game: passing and catching, shooting,
ground balls, defense, offense, dodging, and goalie play. All skill levels welcomed.

Soccer - Focused on both team and individual development, this camp will cover the full
gambit of fundamentals while implementing game-related techniques, tactical development,
and coached match play. Campers will experience daily soccer immersion through intensity
stations, tournament play, and skill-specific training in a fun environment!
SafeZone Sports Camp is led by Momentum3, a SSSAS Summertimes partner. Campers receive a Momentum3 t-shirt and the chance to win daily prizes! Please contact Coach Gill at coachgill@momentum-3.com or Coach Johnson at cindy@momentum-3.com with any questions about this camp.
