SSSAS Assistant Varsity Lacrosse Coach and former Ohio State University goalkeeper, Ms. Stacey Williams brings her knowledge and enthusiasm for lacrosse to any interested girls in rising grades K-8. This year, the camp will be divided into 2 groups: Red Saints Lacrosse Group (Grades K-5) and the Green Saints Lacrosse Group (Grades 6-8). The morning sessions will  focus on fundamentals, footwork, small game play, lots of skill based movement games  and having FUN! Individual and team offense and defense concepts will be taught that will have players progress from 1v1's to full field scrimmages by the end of the week with an emphasis on  improving their lax IQ! Coach McLeod (SSSAS Varsity Track and Field Coach) will be helping to run some morning speed training drills/workouts too! If you're ready to learn lacrosse the SAINTS way, come and be coached by SSSAS alums playing in college and current SSSAS lacrosse players. You won’t want to miss camp this summer-- lots of exciting activities are happening on the lacrosse field in 2019!

Each afternoon will consist of a a field trip off campus before coming back for afternoon Chumash Games (small 3v3 lacrosse games)that will culminate in a Chumash tournament on the last day! Field trips may include: swimming, a trip to the St. James, yoga, sports performance/speed games, water park, ropes course, etc.!

Players of all levels (including those playing for the first time) are welcome and skill groups will be formed based on age and ability.  There will be specialized GK instruction with both the Red and Green groups. Protective eye wear, mouth guard, water bottle and stick are required. Goalkeepers need to bring their own equipment.

Players will be provided with an afternoon snack  each day and may purchase lunch for $5. Additional snacks and drinks will be sold at our camp store during lunch. Please contact Coach Stacey Williams with any questions at swilliams@sssas.org.
