July 27 - July 31
Lower School Campus
Can’t decide whether you want to code or work with robots? You can have it all! Campers will split their day between coding and robotics. During the coding portion of their day, campers will learn to code using a visual programming language called Scratch. The Arcade Action unit shows kids how to program their own take on classic arcade games like Pong, Tanks, and Snake!
During the second part of their day, campers will be exposed to the amazing world of robotics! Campers will explore the animal kingdom in this WeDo 2.0 LEGO Robotics camp. Students will build and code swinging monkeys, fierce Silverback gorillas, cute Koalas, and more robots that climb, move, bite and roll! During the camp day, students will take breaks for snacks, lunch, and outdoor recess time. At the end of the week, each camper receives a t-shirt and a USB stick with all their coding programs.
Coding and Robotics Camp is directed by Silver Knights Enrichment, a Summertimes partner. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any camp questions. For more information about Silver Knights, please visit skenrichment.com.
