Summertimes offers two distinct types of summer programming: Day Camps and Academic Programs.
Be a Musical Theater Star!
Calling all stars! In Junior Musical Theater, campers will develop their creative skills and explore different aspects of theater through acting, singing, choreography, and improv games, many of which will be conducted outside. Campers will expand their musical theater abilities through a fun-filled camp focused on delivering a culminating musical production. This summer, due to COVID-19, we will be rehearsing and producing “Super Happy Awesome News!” a virtual musical. Each day will be filled with vocal music, acting, and more as campers help to create the show. Campers will have a scene that will be filmed individually by camp staff, which will be an integral part of the show. Once the individual clips are compiled, the performance will be sent out to families in a digital format! Both beginner and advanced musical theater artists are welcome!
Please note that this is an in-person camp. Each day will be filled with vocal music, acting, and more as campers help to create the show. Both beginner and advanced musical theater artists are welcome!
Junior Musical Theater Camp is led by Ms. Marguerite Scully. Ms. Scully has directed numerous productions and has performed throughout Europe and New York City. If you have any questions please contact camp Director Marguerite Scully at margueritescully@gmail.com.
