Get Your Lacrosse Sticks Ready!
This dynamic camp is open to any players, beginner through advanced, who are looking to have fun and grow their lacrosse skills and game sense. Mornings will focus on building or advancing fundamental skills. Some skills include stick skills, ground balls, offensive and defensive concepts, draw controls, body position, and game play. Morning snacks will be provided to stay powered up for the day! In the afternoons, we will focus on competitive game play. Players will also have the opportunity to cool off at the local pool. The week will end with Lacrosse Olympics!
Groups will be divided based on skill level and experience, with a low ratio of coaches to players. We are excited to offer a fun environment with current collegiate and SSSAS players who cultivate an atmosphere of teamwork, leadership, and love for the game.
Campers are responsible for supplying their own equipment, including protective eyewear, stick, mouth guard, and water bottle. Campers can either bring their own lunch or order lunch through the Summertimes website. Campers should bring a bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen, and a change of clothes for after the pool. This camp is being offered as a full or half-day program. Full day registration is highly recommended so campers can truly benefit from all the camp has to offer.
Girls Lacrosse Camp is directed by Ms. Kim Dubansky, current SSSAS Varsity Lacrosse Coach and Middle School P.E. teacher. Coach Dubansky is a former McDonough lacrosse coach, Division I lacrosse player (Johns Hopkins), and she played for the Israeli National Lacrosse Team, helping to earn then a #6 world ranking. Coach Dubansky is the current coach of the Israeli National Lacrosse team. If you have any questions about this camp, please reach out to Coach Dubansky at kdubansky@sssas.org.
