Learn about the exciting world of physics!

The wonderful world of physics is all around us! In this enriching, hands-on experiential camp, campers will be introduced to the basics of physics. From building water-bottle rockets that launch sky high to participating in handmade arrow and paddle-boat competitions, Phenomenal Physics campers will experience the physical world and the physics concepts that explain it through engaging activities. Campers will spend their days learning the concepts of Newton’s Laws of Motion, Conservation of Energy, Work, and Power in short micro-lessons full of exciting demonstrations and hands-on projects. Campers will also complete three larger design projects: water-bottle rockets, paddle boats, and a mystery build. Phenomenal Physics campers create, design, play, and learn!

*Please note that the Week 1 (June 10-14) session will take place at the Middle School Campus. Week 9 (August 5-9) and Week 10 (August 12-16) will take place at the Lower School Campus.*

Phenomenal Physics Camp is directed by SSSAS Upper School Physics teacher, Mr. Jarred Vallozzi. If you have any questions about this camp, please contact Mr. Vallozzi at jvallozzi@sssas.org.
